What data this website collects
This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tools, and its fonts are served from the website itself, with no connection to third parties. It only collects personal data in two cases:
- The starter form, which you fill in before you start training with us.
- The online training area, which stores a technical cookie (
fr_online) in your browser to remember that you have entered the password. It lasts 30 days, does not identify you and is strictly necessary for the area to work, so it does not require consent. You can delete it by logging out or from your browser. - The videos in the online area are hosted on YouTube (Google). They do not load until you press play; from that moment on, YouTube processes your browsing data in accordance with its privacy policy. We use its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
The starter form
We ask you for the following data:
- Identification and contact details: first name, surnames, date of birth, mobile number and email address.
- Your stage: the group you are interested in and, if you are pregnant or postpartum, your week of pregnancy, your due date or the date and type of birth, whether you have medical clearance and whether you have had a pelvic floor assessment.
- Health data: injuries, medical conditions, surgery, medication and symptoms such as urine leakage, pelvic pain or diastasis.
- Your experience: training level, goals and how you heard about us.
- Emergency contact: name and phone number of a person of your choice. By providing them, you confirm that this person has been informed.
We use them to:
- Adapt each training session to your physical condition and to your stage of pregnancy or postpartum.
- Recommend a group and a timetable, and manage your enrolment.
- Notify your emergency contact if necessary during a session.
Health data
Health data are a special category of data and we handle them with special care. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)), which you give by ticking the corresponding box on the form. Without this consent we cannot adapt your sessions safely, which is why it is mandatory in order to train in the pregnancy and postpartum groups.
Only your trainers have access to them, and solely to prepare your training sessions. We do not use them for any other purpose, we do not carry out profiling or take automated decisions with them, and we never share them with other members or publish them. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; from then on we will not be able to adapt your training to that information.
Photos and videos
You will only appear in FitReturn photos or videos for social media or the website if you tick the optional box on the form. You can withdraw this permission whenever you wish, and we will remove the images in which you appear from the publications under our control. Inside the centre, no member is filmed or photographed without her permission.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we will use your name and email address to send you news and events from FitReturn. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw using the unsubscribe link included in every mailing. The newsletter is sent with Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which processes data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
When you write to us
If you contact us via WhatsApp, email or social media, we will use the data you provide (name, phone number, email address and any information you share) only to reply to you and, if you sign up, to manage your training. The legal basis is your consent and, where applicable, the contractual relationship. WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Minors
The data of the girls and boys in FitReturn Kids are provided to us by their mothers, fathers or legal guardians, who are the ones who give consent and may exercise their rights.
Who else has access to your data
We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. For the website and our services to work, some providers process data on our behalf, under contract and only following our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting. It may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.): sending the newsletter.
How long we keep them
- Health data and emergency contact: for as long as you train with us. When you leave, we erase them.
- Identification and contact details: for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by law; for example, six years for invoicing data.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Photos and videos: until you withdraw your permission.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as access restricted to your trainers, encrypted connections and passwords on the tools where they are stored.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to fitreturn@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with it beforehand. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency) (aepd.es).
